Citrus Valley Medical Center is a not-for-profit
health care facility serving the San Gabriel Valley community from
two locations, the Inter-Community Campus
in Covina and the Queen of the Valley
Campus in West Covina. Our fully accredited medical
center has the only state-of-the-art Cardiac Cath Lab and open heart
surgery program in the east San Gabriel Valley, a Level II Neonatal
Intensive Care Unit, a comprehensive Rehabilitation Program, and
Cancer Services Program. We have more than 500 beds and serve a
population of more than 880,000 in the San Gabriel Valley. Citrus
Valley Medical Center has 3,000 employees and 686 physicians with
admitting privileges.
Citrus Valley Medical Center —
Inter-Community Campus is a
comprehensive 208-bed full-service health care facility offering a
wide range of medical, surgical and specialty services. Major
features at this campus include a 14-bed Cardiac Care Unit, a 40-bed
Definitive Observation Unit, diagnostic cardiology and nuclear
medicine departments, a Chest Pain Emergency Unit and a Cardiac
Rehabilitation Program. Other specialty areas include a
comprehensive Cancer Center, Radiation Oncology and an Inpatient
Cancer Unit, the Cancer Resource Center, an information center for
physician, hospital, and community outreach referrals, the
Mammography Screening Center, a 24-bed Transitional Care Unit, a
10-bed Ambulatory Care Center, a 24-bed Orthopedics Unit, and a
30-bed Mental Health Unit. The Inter-Community Campus has been
providing health care services to the community since 1922.
